1986-1989 Yamaha Session II 612P White
Before the Pacifica, there was the Session II series. Yamaha took the S type formula, and hot rodded it to produce a timeless tone machine.
The 612P was only released in Japan, and was designed to be the ultimate workhorse guitar for the gigging musician. The locking tremolo system comes alongside a set of Yamaha's in house designed pickups, a pair of single coils and a splittable humbucker at the bridge.
This guitar does it all, and looks classic whilst doing it. Jake E Lee and Adrian Smith would love it!
*Please note that the original split potentiometer is now a push/pull, due to the original push/push mechanism wearing out. Yamaha loaded these with 300k tone pots, and rather than sacrifice the guitar's original voice it has been altered to work as a push/pull.*
